This is how i 'Rooted' my Samsung Galaxy W smartphone.........

First you need to download a file which contains the Root Tool.......

Get it HERE

Save the file somewhere where you can access it, like on your desktop.

It is a Rar file so you will need Winrar to open the file.

Assuming you already have Winrar on your computer, Right click the file and say 'Extract Here'

You will get a 'Files' folder and a Runme file.

Now turn your attention to your phone.

Go to Settings/Applications/Development and check or tick next to USB Debugging.

Now you need to install ADB drivers in order for your phone to work with your pc.....
You may want to install the Android SDK in order to get the drivers or search Google for 'ADB Drivers'

Once you've installed the ADB Drivers you are good to go!

Now plug your phone into your pc via usb.

Go to the files you extracted earlier and double click on the 'Runme' file....

Let it do it's thing, it takes roughly 5 minutes.

When finished, your phone will reboot and you can press any key on your pc to close the window.

Unplug your phone and enjoy a Rooted Samsung Galaxy W!
